Elvira Amor born in Madrid in 1982, where she lives and works.

She holds a degree in Fine Arts in Castilla-La Mancha in Spain and her long stays influenced her artistic practice, developing interests in non-occidental traditional techniques. Her study of shapes and colors  is revealed as fluid profiles. In her painting, indeed, Elvira Amor searches for a pre-verbal language, approaching traditional themes of abstract painting.

"In my practice I work with color and form, I think of painting as that mental image that is constructed from what is visible, the environment around, the floor, objects, walls. I am interested in the atmosphere that a group of pieces gives off, and how they impact people and space."
