Dario Picariello was born in Avellino in 1991, lives and works in Milan.

He holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino and a Master’s degree in Photography and Visual Design from NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan.

His artistic practice employs various expressive media to create works that weave together past and present, resulting in a photographic language defined by objects and bodies imbued with mystery and evocative power.

The artist is driven by the potential—through scientific, anthropological, and folkloric inquiry—to revitalize a place and its history, presenting the audience with a broader narrative that touches upon themes of human existence.
