Giuseppe Pietroniro was born in Canada in 1968 and lives and works in Rome.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.

Giuseppe Pietroniro’s research has always been distinguished by a constant practice of reconfiguring space and subverting classical perspectival coordinates. Since the 1990s, the artist has experimented with the use of different media.

Through photography, drawing, and installation, he investigates reality as a form of illusion, describing it aesthetically in conceptual terms through its representation or through architectural and perspectival devices capable of creating spaces and forms that expand perception.
