Participants in the residency of the 18th edition of the historic San Fedele Artivisive Award discussed the theme of the CITY. During the residency, meetings were held training with Giuseppe Riggio SJ, director of the journal Aggiornamenti Sociali, Andrea Dall'Asta SJ and Mario Raciti, artist. Also, with art critic Manuela Gandini and Chiara Gatti, Director of MAN Nuoro, the participants' portfolios were discussed.
The competing works were voted on in July by a jury composed of, in addition to by the Director and Curatorial Staff, by: Giampaolo Abbondio, Roberto Diodato, Manuela Gandini, Gigliola Foschi, Marco Meneguzzo, Michela Moro, Giovanni and Aline Radice Fossati, Allegra Ravizza, Luisa Somaini.
The winners will be awarded during the opening night and, thanks to the collaboration with the Carlo Maria Martini Foundation, the Martini International Award - made by sculptor Daniele Salvalai - voted by the jury composed of the Director, Chiara Daniele and Rosella Ghezzi. In addition, in memory of the artist Paolo Rigamonti who prematurely passed away, will be awarded by the jury composed of the Family itself, the Director and Giuseppe Riggio, the prize dedicated to him: a casting signed by the sculptor Hidetoshi Nagasawa.
At 8 p.m. at the San Fedele Auditorium there will be a screening of the audio video performance Geographies Private by David Capuano, in collaboration with Francesco Zoppis.
