DIONYSIS SARAJI: BESTIARIO

LABS Contemporary Art is pleased to present the virtual exhibition "Bestiario" dedicated to the new works of Dionysis Saraji, exclusively available on Artsy from 16 October to 20 December 2025.

The new series of watercolour drawings on Nepalese paper, Bestiario, features a sequence of imaginary figures constructed through the artist’s cultural memory. His hybrid forms, born from the dialogue between Persian tradition and Greek mythology, unfold into a playful language of bodies and colours where metamorphosis becomes both joy and celebration.

Saraji’s work outlines a queer ontology of play and transformation — a poetics of joy that becomes a politics of change.
