First Institutional solo exhibition in Spain
Palacete del Embarcadero, Santander

We are proud to announce the first major institutional solo exhibition by artist Paula Santomé (Vigo, 1994), presented at the Palacete del Embarcadero in Santander: Wetlands will remain on view through 5 July 2026.
The exhibition takes its title from Coroza, one of the works created for the show, in which a woman weaves a traditional Galician garment to protect herself from the rain. This gesture embodies a form of knowledge rooted in adaptation to the environment rather than in the desire to dominate it. In Galicia, rain is not an exception but a condition of life, and this practical knowledge of weaving, historically associated with the feminine, becomes the point of departure for the entire exhibition.
